Crazy Eights (Barbara) - $35.00
Tuesdays, Aug. 24, 31, 7-9PM

This beginners quilt gives practice with cutting and piecing accurately and results in either a monochromatic or multicolored lap quilt (finished size 38” x 45”). If you have your fabric the first class you will cut your fat quarters and begin piecing. The second class we will learn finishing. You will learn some “tricks of the trade” and have a finished quilt top quickly.

Quilts for Kids (Shirley)
The first Tuesday of every month @ 10:00AM

Shirley will be available at 10:00AM to give out the kits and answer questions. Join the "Glenside Girls," whose quilts are in great demand at Children’s Hospital.

Granny’s Sewing Den Summer Sewing Camps, Beginners Basics, Session 1. Ages 10 and up (Gina) - $90.00
August 2 – August 6, 9:30 am-12:00 pm

Learn the basics of sewing with fun projects. Campers will learn how to read and cut out patterns to make a pillow case, pajama pants and a simple ruck sack.

Grannys Sewing Den Summer Sewing Camp, Intermediate basics. Ages 10 and up. (Gina) - $90.00
August 2 – August 6, 1:00 pm-3:30pm

Intermediate Basics: This class is for the camper who has already had an introduction to sewing and is familiar with their machine. Learn how to sew a zipper and buttonholes when we make a a simple pocket book or bag. Next, choose your own project from a list of pre-approved patterns.

Learn this no sew technique for creating fabric "quilts" that you can walk on!!! Barbara's take on the standard designs will inspire you to create your own masterpiece.

Learn to create Paula Nadelstern's Kaleidoscope effect with one fabric! This is a wall quilt Kaleidoscope Sampler that can lead to more and wonderful things!!!!

So you want to learn to quilt! Try this easy baby quilt/wall hanging that can be finished COMPLETELY by the last session... cutting, piecing, quilting and binding. Learn the basics of rotary cutting, machine piecing and quilting.

REGISTRATION POLICY

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at sign up with balance due 1 week prior to the class.  ABSOLUTELY no money will be refunded or transferred to another class unless the class is cancelled.  Student assumes responsibility for any inability to attend class.
